Whistleblower
Stockholm Stadshotell is committed to fostering an open business climate, upholding the highest standards of business ethics, and promoting the well-being of our employees. We value our employees, customers, and suppliers as our most vital sources of insight, helping us identify and address any areas in need of improvement.
As a values-driven organization, we encourage anyone who suspects misconduct that violates our values, business ethics, or applicable laws to speak up without fear of retaliation. Reports can be submitted anonymously, and to ensure the protection of informants, we have established a comprehensive whistleblower policy.
Whistleblowing involves reporting potential illegal or unethical activities—commonly referred to as misconduct—to the attention of management.
What can be reported?
Through this function, suspicions of serious misconduct can be reported. Serious misconduct includes:
– Economic crimes such as bribery, corruption, theft, fraud and forgery, accounting crimes, and other violations of accounting and tax legislation
– A conflict of interest between an employee and Stockholm Stadshotell
– Other serious irregularities that affect our vital interests or individuals' lives and health, such as serious environmental crimes, major deficiencies in workplace safety, and severe forms of discrimination and harassment.
Who can report?
The reporting procedure can be used by all employees (regardless of employment type) in Stockholm Stadshotell's companies. Suppliers, former employees, etc. can also use the function.
How are other matters reported?
Other types of issues such as disputes, errors, complaints, minor crimes, dissatisfaction with salary, and similar do not constitute whistleblowing matters and should not be reported as such. These matters should primarily be reported to the immediate supervisor or another member of the management team.
Reporting
You are guaranteed anonymity by management whether you disclose your identity or not. You never need to disclose your identity if you don't want to. You can choose to report as follows:
Email: visselblåsarmejl@frenchexpress.se
Telephone: +46 8 16 50 30
Physical meeting: Please call or email and indicate that you wish for a physical meeting
You do not need to have evidence for your suspicion, but accusations must not be made with harmful intent or with knowledge that the accusation is false. It is important that you describe all facts in the matter. Please develop your statement carefully and attach anything that may be relevant.
Who receives the report?
All reports are received by a committee consisting of the management team at the head office. When external expertise is needed, investigations may also be conducted by an external actor with extensive experience in whistleblowing cases and related investigations. No information about you as a reporter will be disclosed unless you have given your consent. You choose whether you want to be completely anonymous to the independent actor's investigators or if you want to say who you are.
Feedback
We will keep you abreast of the status of your complaint and may need to ask you more questions.
Personal data and anonymity
We place great importance on protecting personal integrity. The rights of individuals involved in whistleblowing cases are safeguarded in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Personal data included in case management and investigation records will be deleted upon the conclusion of the investigation, unless applicable laws require its retention. For further details, please refer to Stockholm Stadshotell's personal data policy.
Abuse
We will investigate all reported cases. It is important that every individual who reports genuinely suspects that serious misconduct exists. We take deliberately false or malicious accusations seriously and may take disciplinary action against anyone who maliciously accuses someone else.
External reporting
You may also report your concerns directly to the competent authority responsible for the relevant area. In line with the new whistleblower law, several authorities have established external whistleblowing channels where individuals can submit their suspicions. These authorities are: Arbetsmiljöverket, Boverket, Elsäkerhetsverket, Ekobrottsmyndigheten, Fastighetsmäklarinspektionen, Finansinspektionen, Folkhälsomyndigheten, Havs- och vattenmyndigheten, Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, Inspektionen för strategiska produkter, Inspektionen för vård och omsorg, Kemikalieinspektionen, Konsumentverket, Konkurrensverket, Livsmedelsverket, Läkemedelsverket, Länsstyrelserna, Myndigheten för samhällsskydd och beredskap, Naturvårdsverket, Post- och telestyrelsen, Regeringskansliet, Revisorsinspektionen, Skatteverket, Skogsstyrelsen, Spelinspektionen, Statens energimyndighet, Statens jordbruksverk, Styrelsen för ackreditering och teknisk kontroll, Strålsäkerhetsmyndigheten och Transportstyrelsen.
