About Stockholm Stadshotell
Located on the picturesque Björngårdsgatan, and housed in a historic building from 1875, Stockholm Stadshotell blends history, design, and gastronomy with warm, personal service. The building’s architectural significance stands as a testament to Stockholm’s cultural heritage and has been carefully restored to feature 32 rooms and suites, two restaurants, a bar, guest lounge, sauna with a cold plunge, and a courtyard garden restaurant.

Stockholm Stadshotell and its restaurants are owned and operated by Johan Agrell, Fredrik Carlström, Dan Källström, Jon Lacotte, and Ian Nicholson. This team brings decades of diverse international experience, having worked with some of the world’s most iconic hotels, including The Mercer, Chateau Marmont, Soho Grand, The Standard, and Faena. They are also behind Alma, the highly lauded members’ club and co-working space, Austere, a hybrid design gallery and showroom located in Los Angeles and New York, and renowned restaurants Fäviken and Frantzén, along with some of Stockholm’s most beloved neighborhood spots, including Restaurang Babette, Schmaltz, Tengu, and Café Nizza, a short walking distance of the hotel.
