Restaurants
& Bar
Stockholm Stadshotell offers three distinct dining experiences: the lively Bistro, the intimate Matsalen, and the atmospheric Bar. Enjoy seasonal dishes, local produce, and craft cocktails. In summer, food and drinks are also served in the hotel's courtyard. Matsalen hosts rotating collaborations and guest residencies in the former chapel. The Bar serves classic cocktails, beer, wine, and cider until midnight at least.
Bistro
Breakfast: Mon–Fri 07.00–11.00, Sat-Sun 08.00-11.00 | Lunch: Mon-Fri 12.00-15.30 | Brunch: Sat–Sun 12.00–15.30 | Dinner: Mon-Sun 17.00-00.00
From breakfast to dinner, the bistro is the lively heart of the hotel. The charcoal grill never stops blazing and fresh, vibrant summer produce is in abundance. Weather permitting, our summer lunch and dinner menu is served exclusively on the patio, along with our wine and cocktail programs.
On weekend afternoons, we serve our daily à la carte menu along with a selection of additional brunch dishes.

Courtyard
Open from June 1
Summer at Stockholm Stadshotell
Our courtyard has officially opened for the summer! The restaurant has moved outside, the menu has a strong focus on our wood-fired grill and the bar is now open outdoors with seasonal signature drinks.
On selected evenings, Babette will make pizza in the courtyard, live music will be played at regular intervals and special dishes and wines by the glass will be served.
In August, we look forward to our crayfish festival weekend.
The courtyard is open every day for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Saturday and Sunday afternoons offer brunch specialties from 12.00.
Due to inclement weather, we are unable to guarantee a table outside.
Bar
Monday–Friday 14.00-23.00 | Saturday-Sunday 12.00-23.00
Hotel bars have historically played a key role in cocktail culture. Inspired by iconic locations and with deep craft knowledge, head bartender Andrés Basile presents both new and classic drinks with a modern interpretation. A select selection of beers, wines and ciders are also served.

Matsalen
Open for residencies and special events — dates vary
The dining room, located in what was once a chapel, is the most meticulously preserved room in the house. With its own kitchen, vaulted ceilings and restored frescoes, it stands apart from the rest of the hotel: more intimate, more special, suited to things that don’t fit on a quick menu or a standing reservation.
The room hosts rotating guest residencies, communal dinners and events designed specifically for this space. Each event runs for a defined season before giving way to the next. What’s happening – and who’s behind it – changes. The room doesn’t.
The dining room is also available for private hire.
